The 2016 Annual General Meeting will bring together over a thousand human rights activists from throughout the U.S. and around the world to engage in networking opportunities, human rights actions, inspiring plenaries, outstanding keynotes and hands-on workshops, as well as to shape the policies of the organization. This year's conference is shaping up to be incredible, and through our conference, communities will be inspired to expand awareness, initiate change, and call the world to action. Our theme this year is "Change Our World." We stand shoulder to shoulder with activists in the United States and throughout the world to make a lasting human rights impact. We strive to embrace and reflect all identities that make up humanity in order to foster a world where justice, freedom, and dignity are recognized as central to the inalienable rights of all human beings.

"You cannot change any society unless you take responsibility for it, unless you see yourself as belonging to it and responsible for changing it. " - Grace Lee Boggs.
